Set to end his three-city birthday celebration tour, Tory Lanez headed to Canada’s capital– Ottawa. He was seen arriving to his hotel at about 12am and, after a few hiccups, he finally arrived fashionably late to the venue to celebrate. Tory entered the stage with an entourage of about 15 people (we may have lost count) including his brother and some close friends. The stage was so tightly packed packed, it felt like it was going to collapse into the basement of the venue. Before performing Tory  addressed  the crowd, “I just want tell everybody right now, that this is a really weird moment for me! They didn’t tell me this was a performance!” but explained that he “fucks with Ottawa so much” and performed a set anyway. The Toronto rapper performed tracks like ‘Diego’, ‘The Godfather’ (Lost Cause), ‘In For It’ (Cruel Intentions EP), and ‘Dimelo’. Spending most of his short set standing in– and on– the crowd rather than on the stage, he left Ritual Nightclub right after and was seen taking pictures with fans. With a fashionable entrance Tory, of course, made a fashionable exit as he hopped into a white Mercedes and drove off. Over all, the night was lit, and we recommend you go watch to his latest music video Diego (co-directed by Tory himself).

Amping the stage for the night and the birthday celebrations to ensue was support from the homies, Illy Miniachi, Kings College, Cashtro, Juvi Da Gemini, Youngn’ Restless, and Maurice Moore. Quite an impressive roster, especially for a Sunday night. We also recommend you check all these artists out; Putting on for our city is a quite a task and they all do their own thing flawlessly.
